Gatherings
Greensburg Community High School Class of 1965

The night of Saturday July 2, 2005 was an almost magic occasion! Dozens of us hung out in David Miers' barn past midnight. We laughed,
ate, drank, and talked til our throats
were sore. It was a wonderful time. We reconnected with our classmates and old teachers. We
caught up on what had happened in the five to 40 years since we had seen each other. Click on the headline above to see pictures by

Just about two years later we were back in David's barn for another party. This time we were "celebrating" the fact that just
about all of us had our 60th birthday in 2007. But what we were really doing was just once again enjoying time together. A highlight
of the evening was a lovely, generously long performance by Dan Mobley, at right. Click on the pictures at left to see three
videos of part of his set. Thanks to Jeff DeMoss for shooting the video. Click on the headline above to see pictures

In 1962 our Pirate sophomores were members of the GCHS football team with the best record in the history of the school. The entire
team was honored during half-time of a game in 2007. Members of our class celebrated before and after the game. Click
